Navigating peri-menopause naturally

While I am happy to hear more about the menopause journey on mainstream news and in workplace discussions, I would love to hear more discussion about how much natural medicine can support those women who choose not to use HRT.

These are the women who show up at my virtual or actual door, having made the decision not to go down that road for a variety of reasons (often they have previously tried HRT or other hormonal interventions over the years, and they know it is not for them). It not be recommended by their health practitioner for medical or family history reasons. For whatever the reason, I respect every woman’s choice to navigate this journey in their own way and for those looking to do it with natural, homeopathic care, I am here.

Peri-menopause is a time of fluctuating hormonal activity and can be accompanied by a variety of symptoms including sweats/flushes, anxiety, confidence dips, brain fog, sleep issues and libido changes. This can begin several years before the periods cease, with gradual hormonal shifts and changes. You can still have regular periods yet be experiencing changes in mood, sleep patterns, digestive health and energy levels.

Did you know it was possible to navigate the hormonal landscape of peri-menopause with natural medicine? Many women do not. Natural homeopathic remedies are gentle, safe, non-toxic and very effective for treating all of the symptoms associated with per-menopause.

My clients are women looking for a natural way to make this transition. Making this choice can be daunting if you don’t know where to turn, and you are already experiencing a variety of challenging symptoms. Being mindful of your nutrition can be a great support however it doesn’t always cut the mustard if you are getting a lot of hormonal imbalance. For some women it’s a relatively smooth transition whereas others experience a wide range of very debilitating physical, mental and emotional symptoms.  

I find working with women on this journey very satisfying. I love to see their mood lift, their symptoms decrease and their energy levels and enthusiasm return. It gives me great pleasure to part of this journey. I use a wide variety of natural and homeopathic remedies to support the body on different levels – physical, emotional, and mental.
